INDIANA NSA HALL OF FAME
Chuck Walters - Marlene Walters
Mr. Chuck and Marlene Walters were inducted into the Indiana NSA Hall of Fame on December 2nd, 2005. They were instrumental in evolving softball in Indiana to what it is today. They were the original owners of Midwest Sports Complex and Metro Stadium. Without these two several of us would not be involved in NSA softball today.
Robert "Chico" Yanes
Robert "Chico" Yanes was inducted into the Indiana NSA Hall fo Fame on December 2nd, 2005. As everyone knows he was a fixture in Indianapolis softball for many years. If you played softball during his era you probably started with one of his teams. He was one of the most enjoyable players and coaches to be around. The player of the year is the "Chico Award". It's a screamin eagle that is in honor of his service in the 101st airborne division as well as the name of all of his teams. That award has been won by Dave Rainbolt, Paul Wasson, and Brian Puckett. His era is over but will never be forgotten. We still love ya and miss you "Bigga Boy"
